Top 5 Party Venues!

It's always fun hosting parties where ever you are, though a good venue makes it even better! The space to play and run about in, the facilities and the ability to shut out the light so our brightly coloured lights and personalised and themed projections are at maximum brightness for the disco!

1. Wadsley Church Hall

I am slightly biased as this is the hall I help to look after so spend a lot of time there making sure its ok and bursting with life on a daily basis! It has two large rooms perfect for partying in. The main hall has been freshly decorated so it the perfect blank canvas for any event. There is a large kitchen fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge and

I have lost count of the number of birthday parties, weddings and christenings I have been to and hosted for so it holds a lot of very happy memories.

For bookings, that's easy! Just contact me at; bexridge@wadsleychurch.com and I'll sort everything out for you.

2. Burton Street Foundation

This was an excellent discovery I made via a recent party booking. I had never heard of this place before so was thrilled to walk into a huge, bright and colourful space to set up ready for a lovely 5 year old's Ugly Bug Ball!

There was a small play area with soft play and ball pool for the little ones and play zone room also which was great! The kitchen was substantial with easy access. There were plenty of big tables and chairs available to use which is always helpful! The floor was half carpeted and half vynal so the best of both worlds! There is a stage also which the kids LOVED dancing and singing along to their favourite songs in front of their adoring spectators.

It was absolutely brilliant and would highly recommend it for kiddies birthday parties!

3. Emmanual Junior School

A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of hosting a Tim Burton style Alice in Wonderland themed party for a 10 year old and this venue sticks out as being one of my favourites. It was a glorious sunny so most of the party was spent outside playing with our hand built crazy golf set and playing hide and seek in the garden! It looked like a fairy garden with a little hut with a cute round window and thatched roof with a wooden higledy pigaldy fence surrounding the garden, perfect for hanging bunting on. There were lots of places to put up the iconic confusing 'this way' 'that way' signs and decorations which created the perfect ambiance!

4. Handsworth Methodist Church

This hall is huge! I recently hosted a Barbie themed party and it was the perfect for the 40+ 4 year old's to run about in. Spacious and bright for the craft activity which was designing and making colour tinted sun glasses! The kiddies ate in a separate room which gave me chance to clean up the craft before joining the kiddies to read the birthday girls favourite story book while they ate!

5. Dore & Totley United Reform Church

I have hosted there a couple of times; a fabulous Pirate themed party in 2017 and a beautiful princess party last year. It is such a lovely venue with lots of space, great facilities. I'm back again in a few weeks time to host a Monster Truck party so am very excited about that!
